Overview
The candidate will be included within the RTW Stella McCartney team and reporting to the WRTW Raw Material Manager will lead the team through the process of research and purchasing for sampling.
He/she will be able to interface daily with the London Design Office for the development of fabrics, accessories and trimmings, systematically speaking with suppliers, ensuring both quality and planned timing.
Your Mission
- Support to the design for the collections creation
- Continuous discussion with the suppliers to develop the collection development needs
- Supervision of the needs assessment deriving from finished product orders
- Supervision of the entry of the booking orders and related delivery of the materials
- Control of the deliveries progress
- Support for the rescheduling of order deliveries for non-compliant materials
- Drafting of statistics and reports on request
- Supervision regarding the management of certificates of origin
- Continuous exchange with the Quality Control
- Supervision of the creation of the fabric books to send to the Vendors
- Deep relationships with our Vendors to exchange the information of the raw materials
- Various and any related to the purchase of fabrics
Your Talent
- Technical textile background in respect of which he gained a really important experience
- Strong expertise in textile/RTW Operation area, at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Predisposition to problem solving both from a technical and relationship point of view
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the style office, within the team and with raw material suppliers
- Availability for fairly frequent travel both in Italy and abroad;
- Fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken
Systems And Essentials
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package in particular of “Excel”
- Preferable knowledge of the system Stealth 3000
