Social Technologies of Rubber in the Amazon
27th October 2020
What are social technologies? And how to develop a business in the middle of the largest rainforest in the world? Is it possible to talk about the 4.0 industry in the Amazon? A PhD researcher and fashion activist (https://ethicalfashionbrazil.com) will share her findings in the last few years. As a vector for the discussion, we will talk about the global value chain of rubber products, from Brazil to Europe. Welcome to a journey with indigenous people, rubber tappers, ayahuasca, international enterprises, NGOs, scientists and politicians.

Phygital Marketplace for Sustainable Fashion SMEs
28th October 2020
How to connect small and medium fashion enterprises to new customers in the phygital paradigm? Along one year, a team of programmers (www.ijunior.com.br/) developed a flexible and highly customized Marketplace of the website Ethical Fashion Brazil (ethicalfashionbrazil.com/shop-homepage). We realized many challenges to make the operations viable, from coding to shipping. A solution we found was to combine the digital marketplace with local stores. What other solutions can contribute to reduce these challenges? Let’s chat about being smart, small and flexible to sell sustainable fashion.
