ABOUT FLAVIA AMADEU
Flavia Amadeu is the Founder and CEO of AMADEU – Amazonian Materials and Design United. She has researched and developed design projects with wild rubber for fifteen years, being a PhD on Design and Sustainability from the London College of Fashion, with the Centre for Sustainable Fashion of UAL. She has been working directly with local communities in the Amazon rainforest and with important partners/customers such as Lily Cole, Rick Owens, Vivienne Westwood, Bottletop, Artesano, WWF (at UK, USA and Brazil), SOS Amazônia, Sky Rainforest Rescue, besides having her own signature brand called FLAVIA AMADEU Sustainable Design.
